On the third day of the Tycoons Week, a seminar was held delving about stock markets and fundamental concepts of economics. The event was hosted by Ms. Alaia Kirsten Doverte, a previous Binibining Cebu candidate.
Professor Michael Flores opened the affair through a lecture about stock investments. The talk aimed to shed light on stock investments and inspire students to invest as one method in uplifting the economy.
The seminar also imparted the fundamentals of economics and its relation to marketing. The talk lead by Dean Tiffany Tan aims to guide the students regarding the interrelationship between the two disciplines.
The highlight of the seminar showcased a talk about entrepreneurship. Ms. Kimberly Gothong, the founder of Mrs. Clean, an on-call personalized cleaning services, shed light on the hardships and rewards of being an entrepreneur.
The event concluded with warm regards from the organizers to the students who attended the affair.
