The School of Management (SoM) hosted its Freshmen Orientation 2024, featuring a series of insightful presentations of Resource Speakers which was followed by a forum with students. The event began with a Welcome and Inspiration Talk delivered by SoM Dean Dr. Mary Gretchen Chaves, setting an encouraging tone for the BS Management (BSM) freshmen students. Assistant Professor Ivy Jumao-as, the BSM Program Coordinator, then introduced the program and provided an overview of the Revised BS Management Student Handbook 2024. Dr. Mary Jane Matero, SoM College Secretary, discussed the academic policies, ensuring students understood the expectations and academic requirements. Mr. Cipriano Olita presented the services offered by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), while Atty. Archill Capistrano addressed the support provided by the Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH). Dr. Annabelle Maglasang highlighted the Gender Advocacy and Development (GAD) services available to students. The event concluded with closing remarks from AVP Tiffany Tan, relayed by Assistant Professor and Management Circle Adviser, Dr. Leslie Chua.
