The University of the Philippines Cebu hosted the Visayas leg of Teach the Teachers: Improving CPALE Outcomes through Faculty Development, a flagship program of the National Association of CPAs in Education in partnership with P&A Grant Thornton Philippines. The two-day faculty development program focused on Taxation and the Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions, equipping accounting educators with updated knowledge and teaching strategies. In her welcome message, Asst. Prof. Palmy Marinel P. Tudtud, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, reaffirmed UP Cebu’s commitment to strengthening accounting education by supporting educators who play a vital role in shaping future professionals and contributing to nation-building.
